This is a blog about walking daily with Christ. It is my goal to have a closer walk with Him, and writing a blog post each day is one source of accountability for me.

Opportunity is Knocking
These past ten-ish days have been full of opportunities for me. God's been blessing me every moment of every day, especially with new opportunities. God allowed me to go to a youth conference with the teens from my Bloomington church. If you didn't already know, I'm currently a student at IU, meaning part of my life is still spent at home while the majority of my life is being spent at school. I love both places very much, as both of them have churches that I love. God has blessed me with both, and all of the opportunities that come with being a part of them. The youth conference was amazing. God worked on me, letting me know that I needed to go more into His word and spend more time in prayer as well. Then today, I was given the opportunity to substitute teach for one of the ladies from my church here at home. I enjoyed myself and felt that God has already blessed me so much just for being obedient. Matthew 6:33 (KJV) says, "But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you." Through all this, I've learned that God blesses you more than you even ask when you're obedient. I am challenging myself to be more obedient to God's word every day, and I hope you can do the same.
