Complaining

Complaining.

We're all guilty of it.

Paul talks about complaining in 1 Corinthians 10:10 (KJV),"Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer." It is clear here that God doesn't like to hear us complain. Complaints are usually a sign of ungratefulness or unhappiness, and God wants us to be happy. That's why He gave us His word to read every day and a direct line to Him whenever we need Him, and even when we think we don't.

Today, I was terribly guilty of complaining. I should be more thankful for how God's blessed me. The first blessing God ever gave me was that of salvation. That should be enough to give us a lifetime worth of happiness. However, we're human and tend to mess up. Those are the times we really need to ask for God to help us feel grateful for what we have. Tomorrow (and the rest of the night tonight), I will be working on being more grateful and complaining less. God has a plan for all of us, He just has His own divine timing. :)
