One thing I just cannot get past is how blessed I am. I'm blessed with an amazing family, awesome friends, the two best churches in the state of Indiana (as far as I'm concerned), many opportunities at school, a great summer job, random jobs during the school year, and so many more things. God's been so good. Or as we say at Life Line, "God is good... all the time. All the time... God is good." Psalm 68:19 (KJV) says, "Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah." God always provides, especially on a daily basis. He is the God of our salvation, and that should be enough blessing for us. However, God keeps on giving, more than we can ask or think.
Today, I was listening to The Collingsworth Family (again) and their song "Count Your Blessings Again" came on my iPod. In the song they say something that is so true to me: "Count your blessings again, again, and again, start with the one where He saved you from sin. When you're done with them all, give the praises to Him, then turn around and count all your blessings again." We should be more thankful for what God's given us. Even if it is something some people may not be thankful for- waking up this morning, having food on the table, having money in your wallet, having great friends, etc., we still need be thankful and keep counting those blessings that God has given us.
