Opened Eyes

This week has been pretty eye-opening for me. I've learned a lot about being courageous in my everyday life. Now it's time to put it into action. This past Wednesday, at Bible Study, we talked about why God gives us rules. David couldn't have explained it better in Psalm 119:18-20 (KJV), "Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law. I am a stranger in the earth: hide not thy commandments from me. My soul breaketh for the longing that it hath unto thy judgments at all times." God has great things that come out of obedience. He has given us the gift of grace, and that should be enough for us, but He also helps us with the things of everyday life. God's given us so many blessings to be thankful for, and we need to realize it. We need to open our eyes to the fact that God protects us with His laws, and He blesses us when we follow them.
