I started reading Crazy Love by Francis Chan earlier this week. He had a video about being in awe of God which showed just how small we are compared to the rest of the known universe. Let me tell you, we're NOTHING in the grand scheme of things. This put into perspective how in awe of God we should be as Christians. He is the one who made all of the parts of the universe, and even though it is so unbelievably big, He's even bigger! I'm trying to remember that more and more each day as I walk with Him.
This reminds me of Jeremiah 32:17 (KJV) "Ah Lord God! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee." This should make us excited! Jeremiah was excited about what all God had done for him. We should be too!!! I never remember exclamation points very often in the KJV Bible, and guess what... They used one there.
My challenge for you (and myself) today is to get excited about what God's doing. He's done so much for me, and I KNOW He'll do the same for you. All you have to do is trust Him. :)
P.S. The tree is just one of those things I found strikingly beautiful about God's creation... not to mention the Wells Library in the background.
